Brook Brunelle is a metalsmith and a poet at heart, currently enrolled at Maine College of Art and Design. While metals are typically seen as a small medium, they demand quite a lot of attention to detail. As a result, her sketchbook is the largest of the group, measuring 8 1/2 by 11 inches. To pay homage to the process of layering metal to create form, the front and back consist of two layers of chipboard. The design on the front and back cover is inspired by ring size charts, with colored paper alluding to ring size variations. The colors throughout the book were chosen from the hues in silver, and the darkest layer of the design features fine-grit sandpaper, commonly used in metalworking. Her planning for designing jewelry requires straight lines, so the paper is dotted with every four dots equaling an inch. Just like the last three sketchbooks, Brooke has a pocket as well.
